🌿 Waiting With God: Learning to Trust in the Quiet

Sometimes waiting is one of the hardest things we have to do.

We want answers. We want to know what’s coming next. But sometimes we become so focused on making something work that we forget to ask if it’s actually what God has for us.

I learned this lesson when I was younger.

There was a relationship I truly believed was meant for me. I tried so hard to make it work, but eventually I realized something: I was trying so hard to hold on to something God was asking me to release.

That wasn’t easy.

But through that season, God began teaching me about waiting. He reminded me that I didn’t need to chase love. I didn’t need to convince someone to love me. And I didn’t need to settle for something simply because I was afraid of being alone.

The love I needed most was already found in Him.

So I let go and I waited.

I didn’t know what was ahead of me. I didn’t know who God would bring into my life. I simply chose to trust Him.

And eventually, I met my husband.

Looking back, I can see something I couldn’t see at the time:

Waiting was worth it.

Not because waiting is easy, and not because everything happens exactly when we want it to. But because sometimes God asks us to wait so He can lead us somewhere we couldn’t have found by trying to force the way ourselves.

🤍 Waiting With God

Maybe you’re waiting for love.

Maybe you’re waiting for healing, an answer, a new beginning, or something you’ve been praying about for a long time.

Whatever you’re waiting for, don’t let loneliness convince you to settle.

Trust God enough to wait.

You may not understand what He is doing right now. You may not know what is ahead. But you can trust the One who does.

Waiting with God is never wasted.

And sometimes, what you’re waiting for will be worth the wait. 🤍
