When Your Heart Hurts

There are days when the weight inside feels heavy, even when nothing on the outside explains it.

Maybe it’s sadness. Maybe it’s anxiety that won’t quiet down. Maybe it’s a hurting heart or a pain you’ve been carrying quietly for a long time.

Whatever you may be facing today, you are not alone, and your pain does not make you any less loved by God.

When your heart hurts, Psalm 34:18 reminds us:

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” — Psalm 34:18

You don’t have to hide your tears from God. You can bring your heart to Him exactly as it is.

And on the days when even praying feels difficult, a simple:

“Lord, I’m giving this to You.”

is a prayer too.

You don’t have to carry everything today. Take it one moment, one breath, and one step at a time.

And if you’re struggling, please remember that asking for help is not a sign of weakness. Reach out to someone you trust—a loved one, pastor, counselor, or mental-health professional. You don't have to walk through a difficult season alone. 

🙏 A Little Reminder

God sees the tears that nobody else sees.

He knows the battles you don't talk about.

And even in the moments when you feel alone, He has not forgotten you.

My hope at Yoli’s Custom Creation is that, even in small and quiet ways, you are reminded:

You are seen.
You are loved.
You are not alone.

Why This Is Personal to Me

I want to share something a little personal with you. I once went through a really difficult season in my life, and during that time, journaling became a safe way for me to give my heart to God. I know what it's like to need a safe place to put your prayers down. That's part of why this first Gift of Grace is a faith journal and a handmade bookmark, so someone else has that same little space to write, pray, and hold onto God's word.

💕 Gift of Grace 

Sometimes when someone is hurting, a small gift can remind them that someone is thinking of them. For the first Gift of Grace, I'll be giving one woman a faith journal and a handmade bookmark, created with love, prayer, and encouragement. The journal can be a quiet place to write prayers, thoughts, feelings, and the things she wants to bring to God. And the bookmark will be a little reminder to keep his word close. It may seem like a simple gift, but sometimes a simple reminder can mean so much.

Someone may be carrying something this week that you know nothing about. Maybe they're going through a difficult season. Maybe they simply need to be reminded that they are loved, seen, and not forgotten. Once a month, I'll choose one person to receive a small handmade Gift of Grace from Yoli's Custom Creation. You'll be able to nominate someone who could use a little encouragement. Because this isn't just about receiving a gift. It's about giving someone a little reminder that they matter.
