You Don't Have To Pour From An Empty Hear
Sometimes we spend so much time caring for everyone else that we forget that our hearts need care too.
We want to be there for our family, our friends, our church, and the people we love. But God never asked us to give until there is nothing left of us.
It’s okay to rest.
It’s okay to say no.
It’s okay to step back.
It’s okay to take a moment to breathe.
Taking care of your heart doesn't mean you love others any less. Sometimes, it allows you to love them from a healthier and more genuine place.
This week, ask God for wisdom to know when to give, when to pause, and when to simply rest in Him.
You don't have to carry everything.
You don't have to be everything for everyone.
And you don't have to pour from an empty heart.
God cares about you, too. 🤍
🙏 A Little Prayer
Lord, help me remember that I need Your grace too. Teach me when to give, when to rest, and when to step back. Help me care for others without forgetting to care for the heart You've given me. Amen.
🌿 Carry This With You
You can love others deeply and still make room for yourself to rest. Let God fill your heart before you pour into others.
With love,
Yolanda 🌸
